On Saturday, November 28, 2015, Gera-Lind was interviewed on CBS’ 48 Hours by Maureen Maher. This special centers around her true-crime book I Am Cain, which focuses on the 1990 murders of Nancy and Richard Langert and their unborn child by killer David Biro. Biro was 16 at the time of the murders.

Below is a behind-the-scenes excerpt featuring Gera-Lind. See the full video online.

Recently, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that life in prison is cruel and unusual punishment for those who committed murders as juveniles. Therefore, David Biro will be receiving a new hearing. “As the author of I Am Cain,” Gera-Lind said, “I hold the only psychiatric records of Biro as a teen and hold the key to his mental state at the time of the killings.”

I Am Cain is available on Amazon, ITunes, and audible.com. 10% of sales will be donated to the National Organization of Victims of Juvenile Murders.
